She was loved and cherished by many people including: her daughter Mallie; her mother Mallie; her siblings, Perry, Julius, Denver Begley, Adrian Metcalfe, Christine, Maggie, Arnold, Johnnie, Jasper, George Joseph and Nancy; and her children, Nancy, Oscar, Barbara Jean, Walter, Joyce, John Jr., Roy, Fred and Jesse. She was also cherished by 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren, and at least 10 great-great-grand children.
