She was predeceased by: her parents, Pleas Dean and Minnie Dean; her husband Johnny Thomas; her sons, Wes Thomas and Robert Thomas; and her siblings, Elmer Dean (Mary), Elzie Dean, Mable Jenkins, Lillie Dean, Janice Hayes and Doris Grubbs.
She is survived by: her children, Ray Thomas (Cathy) of Harlan, Ralph Cloud (Candace) of Verda, Lisa Barger (Kinny) of Harlan, Billie Thomas of Louisville, KY and Betty Jo Thomas of North Carolina; her sisters, Susie Middleton (Jerry) of Evarts, Elizabeth Davis (Harold) of Virginia and Charlotte Smith (Tim) of Grays Knob; and her grandchildren, Bryan Cloud (Christyn), Tyler Barger (Marissa), Jolene Barger, John Courtney, Nate Thomas and Elly Thomas.
Due to Governor Andy Beshear's executive order, given on March 17, 2020 and based on the CDC recommendations to decrease the spread of COVID-19, all services will be private.
