He is survived by: his wife Chamayne Metcalfe of Harlan; his children, Neil Johnson (Nikki) of Hindman, Rocky Johnson (Hope) of Somerset, Nina Scott (Mark) of London and Cory Lowe (Kimber) of Harlan; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn O'dell, Trinity Johnson, Laikyn Johnson, Maggie Johnson, Gavin Cozort, Aza Scott and Chorus Lowe; his mother-in-law Carolyn Brittain Metcalfe; his brother-in-law Christian Metcalfe (Shannon); his niece Natalie; his nephew Elijah Moore; and his siblings, Reno Johnson, Virginia Ann Gilley, Jennie Napier, Debbie Deal, Mary Blair and Tina Boggs. He is also survived by extended family, and dear friends.
