He was predeceased by: his parents, George Cody and Abigail Cody; and his siblings, Bilford "Speck" Cody, William "Bill" Cody, Marie Ramey (James), Lola, Elva Lena and Eula Mae Roper.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Cody (Lewis); his siblings, Diana Triggs (Mike), Vickie Puckett (Steve) and Don Cody; his niece Deanna Cody Miniard (Chris Miniard); his great-niece Robyn Cody Bingham (Christopher Bingham); his grandchildren, Delaney Miniard Browning (Benjamin Browning), Lyndsee, Emily Miniard, Nathaniel, John Nicholas, Addison Bingham, Mesa Ellington Smith (Eric Smith) and Ainsley Ellington Carroll (Cody Carroll); his great grandchildren, Evie, Ellie Carroll, Elise Smith and Levi Christopher Lynch; and also Shannon Cody Ellington. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family, and friends. And his beagle.
