She was predeceased by: her husband Gene Aslinger; her parents, Wallace Wilkinson, Sr. and Myrtle Faye Robbins Wilkinson; her grandson Shawn Mickeal Aslinger; her siblings, Wilma Jean Wilkinson and Wallace Wilkinson, Jr.; and her brother-in-law Gary Middleton.
She is survived by: her son Shaun Neal Aslinger; her grandchildren, Alexis Bailey (Harold), Cameryn Aslinger (Highsplint) and David Aslinger (Highsplint); her great grandchild Liam Bailey; her siblings, Gladys Wilkinson, Karen Braithwaite (Mike), Imogene Middleton, Willard Wilkinson (Angie) of Highsplint, Larry Lee Wilkinson of Highsplint and Charles Glen "Charlie" Wilkinson of Highsplint; her sister-in-law Lila Wilkinson; her niece Kathleen Braithwaite of Lexington; and her close friend April Cole of Harlan.
