He is survived by: his children, Jerry Gilbert III (Paula), Peggy Gilbert (Rex) and Marisa Barger (Tyler); his father Jerry Gilbert, Sr.; his stepfather Jimmy Griffey; his sister Tonya Coffey (Earl "Chip"); his stepsiblings, Melissa Griffey and Chris Griffey; his grandchildren, Lila, Letty Saylor and Aubree Noelle Gilbert; his brother-in-law Will Catalano (Markey); his aunts, Ellen Elmer, Kildav and Stephanie Wilson; his uncle Joey Wilson (Emma); his nieces and nephews, Alex, Derrick Greenlee, Bridget Greene (Alex Thompson) and Aliza Catalano; his great-niece Lily June Thompson; and his close friends, Faye, Jeff Ledford, Natasha, Alan Bennett and Margaret Shaw Brock.
