He was predeceased by: his parents, Kelly Howard and Tannie Howard; and his parents-in-law, Wendell and Maxia Griffith. He is survived by: his wife Susan Howard of Harlan; his children, Holly Howard Sparks (Stephen) of Olive Branch, Mississippi, Amanda Howard Haney (Rob) of Winchester, KY and Brad Howard (Nikki) of Indianapolis, IN; his grandchildren, Grace Howard, Andrew Sparks, Anna Claire Sparks and Amelia Sparks; his siblings, Jean Barrier (Jack), Joyce Hardy, Annette Mangino (Paul), Christine Burchette (Bobby), Debbie Dozier (Phillip), Peggy Haywood (Allen), Don Howard (Linda), Fred Howard (Rhonda) and Michael Howard (Pat); and his sister-in-law Gwen Morris (Michael).
