She was predeceased by: her husband Harvey Herron, Sr.; and her parents, Orbin Day and Eddie Lorene Shipman Day. She is survived by: her children, Harvey Herron, Jr. (Cotes), Nellie Herron, Charles R. Herron (Charlotte) and Sharon K. Thomas (William Bentner); her close friend Laura Rogers; and her grandchildren, Diana Rogers, Elizabeth Herron, Joseph Roark (Elizabeth), Menzie Farley (Nate), Albert Farley, Charles Thomas, James Thomas (Heather), Nicholas Herron and Marty Roberts (Britney). She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
