With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Henrietta Turner (Harlan, Kentucky), born in Cawood, Kentucky, who passed away on November 10, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Albert and Elizabeth Short Cole; her parents, Leander Cole and Lizzie Cole; and her siblings, Lowell Cole, Mahlon Cole, Bill Cole, Jimmy Cole, Avery Cole, Geneva Cole Wattenburger, Neila Cole Stewart, Lorine Cole Lane and Agnes Cole Carroll.
She is survived by: her significant other Paul Phipps of Wallins, KY.; her children, Nick Cole of Harlan, KY, Joyce Vorderbrueggen (Ed) of Florence, KY, Gail Caldwell (Wayne) of Versailles, KY, Teddy Walters (Mel) of Dalton, GA, Paul "Junebug" Turner of Wallins, KY and Willard Turner of Wallins, KY.; and her grandchildren, Angie Cole, Dewey Cole, Dana Caldwell Goh, Eleshia Caldwell Scholes, Tish Walters, Getina Walters Stone and Brady Walters. She is also survived by her family grow further with 16 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
