He was predeceased by: his father Vass Freeman; his son Scotty Freeman; and his siblings, Charles Freeman, Rodney Freeman, Claude Freeman, Bobby Freeman, Eugene Freeman, Liz Towe, Beatrice Baker and Laverna Branson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Amanda (John Middleton) and Pamela (Thomas Massingale); his siblings, Jerry Freeman, Kyla Browning and Barbara Shpeherd; his grandchildren, Christopher Massingale, Kirsten Massingale, Olivia Middleton and Jaxon Middleton; and his great grandchild Noah Morgan. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
