With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Glessie Boggs (Harlan, Kentucky), who passed away on November 18, 2019 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Belcher and Myrtle Thomas Belcher; her husband Dave Boggs Jr.; and her siblings, Edna Massey, Lavon Robinson, Jerri Smith, Kelsie Souther and John Henry Belcher.
She is survived by: her son Dennie Boggs (Tish) of Knoxville, TN; her grandsons, Chris Boggs (Traci) of Glasgow, KY and Jon Boggs (Beth) of Knoxville, TN; her great grandchildren, Riley Boggs of Glasgow, KY, Laynie Boggs of Glasgow, KY, Avery of Knoxville, TN, Caroline of Knoxville, TN and Eric Boggs of Knoxville, TN; and her close friends, Rose Smith and Karen Grills. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
