It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gladys Mae Turner (Harlan, Kentucky), born in Linefork, Kentucky, who passed away on March 20, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Whitaker and Lola Bradley Whitaker; her husbands, Lester Sexton and Grant Turner; her daughter Dana Shepherd; her siblings, Willis Whitaker, Maudie Kidd, Delores Harper and Marie Cornett; and her grandsons, Bobby Shane and Bobby Shawn.
She is survived by: her son Bobby Sexton (Ann) of Cumberland; and her siblings, Wendell Whitaker (late Thursa) of Lafayette, IN, Greg Whitaker (Connie) of Lexington, KY, Joyce Craft (Darrell) of Morristown, TN, Iva Jean Freeman of Michigan City, IN and Doris Gilliam (late Otis) of Gordon, KY. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.
