He is survived by: his children, Everett Middleton Jr. of Harlan, Melissa Shumate (Freamon) of Indiana and Theresa Helton (Walter) of Cranks; his siblings, Bud Middleton, Mack Middleton of Harlan, Loretta Long of Evarts, Carolyn Wade of Cranks and Viola Skidmore of Virginia; and his grandchildren, Dixie Leann Storrs (Andrew), Christopher Scott Middleton, Ashley Bumgardner (William), Whitley Jean Shumate, Regina Smith (Brian), Karen Ealy (James), Ellie Howard (Michael), Anna Middleton and Brooke Middleton. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, family, and friends.
