She is survived by: her husband Brue Helton; her children, James Nelson Walker, Andrea Lynn Vasquez and Jennifer Renee Helton; her grandson James Nelson Walker Jr.; her brothers, Charles Spurlock Jr. (Oneda), Kenneth Spurlock and Eugene Spurlock; and her niece Christie Hale.
