It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donnie Garland of Harlan, Kentucky, who passed away on October 7, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Donnie Garland to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his mother Georgia Lois Hall Garland; his son Donald F. Garland, Jr.; his father Charles Garland; his brother Charles Edward Garland, II; and his sister-in-law Nancy Farmer Garland.

He is survived by: his sons, Donnie and Randy Garland (Allisa); his grandchildren, Zach, Justin and Taylor; his son Russell Garland (Beth); his grandsons, Ben of Lexington and Matthew of Lexington; his brother Jimmy Garland (Hannah); his nephew Jimmy Dale; his niece Rachel; and the mother of his children Shirley Dodd. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
