She was predeceased by: her sister Regina Pennington Buress; and her son James Edward Marlowe. She is survived by: her husband James C. Cawood; her sister Cheryl Thompson of Baxter; and her children, Joanna Buress of Harlan, Jamie Cawood of Cedurtown and Ashley Fournier of Harlan, Kentucky.. She is also survived by grandchildren, a special niece, and other family and friends.
