It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Danny Perkins Sr. (Harlan, Kentucky), born in London, Kentucky, who passed away on March 23, 2021, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Perkins and Ethel Lawson Perkins; his former wife Nancy Sykes Perkins; his wife Alta Lowe Perkins; his granddaughter Amber Hughett; and his siblings, David, Nathan, Charles Perkins, Wilma Massingale and Grace Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Danny Glen Perkins, Jr. (Betty), Derrick Perkins and Shaunaka Ross (Jerimiah); his stepchildren, Robert Hughett and Lemma Hughett; his grandchildren, Danny, III, Lindsay Perkins, Tommy Hughett, Silas Grubbs, Madison, Ethan and Savannah Napier; his great grandchildren, Choloe, Bexlee and Sydnee; and his siblings, Gerstel, Linville, Marvin Perkins (Rhonda), Faye Jones, Frieda Perkins and Debbie Dean.
