He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Helton and Anna Rainey Helton; his siblings, Bonnie Helton, Bobby Helton, Don Ray Helton (Duck) and James Helton; his niece Ashley North; his grandchildren, Timothy Dean and Robin Dean; and his close friend Lynn Bailey.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Donna Griffith; his children, Dan Ray Helton, Kaley Osborne (Kevin) and Megan Helton; his grandchildren, Karlee Osborne, Jasmine Osborne, Aubrey Helton, Annisa Peace, DJ Peace, Hope Helton and Aiden Helton; his nieces, Jessica Helton, Erica North and Angel Ayers Mclean; and his siblings, Ricky Helton, Gary Helton, David Helton, Bruce Helton, Shelby Helton, Leroy Helton, Lisa Helton, Shirley Norman, Brenda Middleton, Susie Napier, Diane Slusher and Alice Miller. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mount Pleasant Funeral Home (122 N Cumberland Ave, Harlan, KY 40831). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
