It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christene Middleton of Harlan, Kentucky, who passed away on January 16, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert E. Lee and Mary Lee; her brother Claude Lee; and her brother-in-law Clifford Seagraves. She is survived by: her husband Everett Middleton; her children, Everett Middleton Jr., Melissa Shumate (Freamon) of Indiana and Theresa Helton (Walter) of Cranks; her siblings, Robert E. Lee Jr. (Caroline) of Smith, Clifford Lee (Lovelynn) of Pathfork, Carl Edward Lee of Michigan, Francine Ealy (Tony) of Pathfork, Brenda Seagraves of Michigan and America Graves (William) of Michigan; and her grandchildren, Dixie LeAnn Storrs (Andrew) of Michigan, Whitley Jean Shumate, Christopher Scott Middleton, Ashley Bumgardner (William), Regina Smith (Brian), Karen Ealy (James), Ellie Howard (Michael), Brooke Middleton and Anna Middleton.
