She was predeceased by: her parents, Merle Blanton and Rachel Melzoni; her brother Roger Blanton; her sister-in-law Kay Blanton; her brother Larry Melzoni; and also Kaitlyn Deskins.
She is survived by: her sister Jane Melzoni Shoope (Howard); her children, Terri Harrison of Mt, Shelli Harrison Brown (Bruce) of Wilmington, N. C. and Merrell "Jabo" Harrison, Jr. (Regina) of Mt; her grandchildren, Casey Howard, Kara Haddock (Will), John Ryan Howard, Dylan Metcalfe, Jayleigh Harrison and Holly Harrison; her great grandchildren, Skylar Deskins, Madison, Colton Caldwell, Aengus and Henry Haddock; her niece Lisa Artigue; her nephews, Allen Blanton, Ronnie and Michael Shoope; and also Sterling.
In lieu of flowers, Brenda requested memorials to be made to Harlan County Committe (Harlan Senior Citizens Center), 105 N. Cumberland Ave., Harlan, KY 40831, in her memory.
