She was predeceased by: her father Virgil Gaines; her siblings, Virgil Eugene Gaines, Lee Ellis Gaines, Hershel Wayne Gaines, Margetta Turner (Ernest), Anna Ruth Hickey (Clyde) and Billie Sue Fee (Kelly); and her nephew Mark Stephen Hickey.
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Jennifer Sanders of Harlan, Richard Fee (Charlene) of Carrollton, VA, Scott Fee (Gwen) of Gloucester, VA, Kellie Goodman (Greg) of Hampton, VA, Paula Caison (Rodney) of Carrollton, VA, Denise Clift (John) of North Bend, OH and Shannon Hickey of Ohio; and her close friend Mary Hensley.
