With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Mitchell of Harlan, Kentucky, who passed away on September 14, 2020 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Southard and Opal "Flo" Dean Southard; her granddaughter Liberty Blevins; her siblings, Harry Southard, Daniel Southard, Jimmy Stapleton, Cathy Southard and Mary Howard; and her mother-in-law Cassie Mitchell.
She is survived by: her husband Sonny Mitchell; her children, Sonny Mitchell (Misty) of Harlan, Gracie Blevins (Bill) of Kenvir, Jonah Mitchell of Harlan and Cathy Fultz (Jeff) of Kenvir; her brother Harrison Southard (Barb) of Manchester; her brother-in-law Walter Mitchell; her nieces and nephews, Cathy Compton and Terry Mitchell; her close friends, Ida Pace (Junior) and Sue Taylor (Millard); her grandchildren, Johnny Gray, Cheyanne Carroll (Marc), Cassie Napier (Adam), Ashleigh Robinson (Roger), Donald Bargo (Kate), Little Sonny Mitchell, Gage Mitchell, Georgia Mitchell, James Mitchell, Austin Evers, Alexis Evers, Eddie Harmon, Harold Bargo, Hannah Middleton (Brandon), Jonathan Blevins, Little Bill Blevins (Jessica) and Joe Blevins (Savannah); and her great grandchildren, Maria Carroll, Izzy, AJ Napier, Octavia, Jacob, Brantley Wright, Brayley, Aaliyah Bargo, America, James Blevins, Jonathan Worley, Kain, Joseph, Natalie, Keva, Teagan Blevins, Bentley Robinson and Hadley Bargo.
