He was predeceased by: his parents, Noah Asher and Lola Mae Asher Brown; his stepfather Walter Brown; and his brothers, James Bradley Asher and Robert "Bob" Asher.
He is survived by: his wife Willie Mae Asher of Harlan, Kentucky; his daughters, Beverly Asher Bailey of Bristol and Tammy Blanton of Harlan, Kentucky; his son-in-law Greg Bailey of Bristol, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Connor Bailey of Bristol, Tennessee, Maddie Bailey of Bristol, Tennessee and Katie Bailey of Bristol, Tennessee; and his great grandchild Hatley Bailey of Bristol, Tennessee.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, close family, and special friends.
