With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Axie Pollitte (Harlan, Kentucky), who passed away on April 6, 2018 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Henderson and Emily Poff Henderson; and her sibling Earlbert D. Pollitte. She is survived by: her children, Caroline P. Fox of Harlan County, Dianne P. Corriston (Michael) of Harlan County and Earlbert Denver Pollitte (Dink) of Harlan County; her grandchildren, Annette Ellison Morris, Jim of Jacksonville, FL, Howard Ellison, Jr., Lee Ellison, Sabra of Charleston, SC, Lance Ellison of Diberville, MS, Bryan Hensley, Elizabeth of Harlan, Kit Hensley of Benham, Tim Hensley, Tabatha of Nicholasville, KY and Casey Pollitte; her sister-in-law Bessie Henderson of Claiborne County, TN.; and her friend Bell Counties. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren, plus a host of nieces, nephews.
