He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Radford Atwell and Beulah Frances Kidd Atwell; his wife Willie Marjarine Lile Atwell; his siblings, Glendon Atwell, James Atwell and Christine Robertson; his grandson Jimmy Wayne Atwell; and his son-in-law Jerry Overfelt.
He is survived by: his children, Carol (Noah Arnett), Linda Overfelt of Horse Cave and James Radford Atwell of Hardyville; his grandson Kenny Arnett; and his great grandchildren, Nicki, Steve Tupman and Kane Arnett. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Whickerville Cemetery Fund or Gideon Bible Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
