He was predeceased by: his parents, Nannie Belle Meredith and Arnold Lee Kerr; his siblings, Sonny and Imogene; and his son Charles.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Wood Jolly Kerr; his daughter Melissa; his siblings, Wanda Jackson, Ruby Harlow, Georgia Crump and Cecil; and his stepchildren, Sheila Whitlock, James and Michael Mires.
