He was predeceased by: his wife Lorine Hoover Johnston; his son Kevin Johnston; and his granddaughter Ellen Hagans. He is survived by: his children, Angela Reed, Melita Swank (Percy), Philip Johnston (Judy) and Willard Johnston, Jr.; and his brothers, Wendell, Leroy, David and Joe Johnston. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
