He was predeceased by: his parents, Wavie Hale and Helen Rhodes Hale; his son Chris; and his siblings, Regina, Burl, Larry, Mickey, Bobby and Ray.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce of Hardinsburg, KY.; his daughter Melissa Lucas (Scott) of Harned, KY.; his grandchildren, Morgan Lucas of Harned, KY and Grant Lucas of West Point, KY.; his brother Gerald Hale (Juanita) of San Angelo, TX; and his sisters-in-law, Martha Ann Hale, Shirley Hale and Gail Hale. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
