He is survived by: his wife Aliene Martin Simmons; his children, Lisa Akers (Marshall) of Hoschton, GA, Warren Simmons (Karen) of Lawrenceville, GA, Tim Simmons (Sabrina) of Prospect, KY and Jennifer Phillips (Greg); his grandchildren, Byron Thomas (Monica), Beth Bembry (Tilden), Sara Simmons, Katie Simmons, Tim Simmons, Brianna Redman (Zach), Andrew Simmons (Danette), Casie Wood, Josh Phillips (Lanie), Bailey Meagher (Colin) and Cole Phillips; and his great grandchildren, Lindsey, Brennan, Mason Thomas, Chloe Simmons, Naomi Redman and Kate Wood.
