He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernice Norton Basham and Vinard Ray Basham; his close friend Anita Holderman; and his brother Roger Basham. He is survived by: his siblings, Doris Armstrong of Irvington, Delma Basham of Brandenburg and Leonard Basham (Beverly) of Auburndale, FL; and his stepchildren, Nicole Hittle (Ritchie) of Irvington, James Holderman, Jr. (Tiffany) of Litchfield, Jamie Mattingly (Leonard) of Clarkson and Crystal Fetch of Guston. He is also survived by several step grandchildren; several step-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and nephews.
