He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Kraay and Marjorie Kuipers Kraay; his former wife Shirley Kraay; his children, John Kraay and Victoria Lynn Kraay; his wife Dianne Kraay of Hardin; his sons, Terry Kraay (Wendy) of Cadiz and Rick Kraay (LuAnn) of Watseka, IL; his stepsons, Chris Smith (Jennifer) of Fairbury, IL, Jeremiah Rogers of Santa Clarita, CA and Dustin Rogers of Santa Clarita, CA; his daughters, LeAnne Robinson (Bill) of Gilman, IL and Shelia Kraay (Cary Weiner) of Sheldon, IL; his stepdaughter Jennifer Rogers (Kehani Casimir) of Santa Clarita, CA; and his brothers, Jim Kraay (Patricia) of Hardin and Paul Kraay (Stacy) of Cisne, IL. He was also cherished by 12 grandchildren;14 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
