He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Clay Anderson and Beatrice West Anderson; his nephew T. J. Yann; and his grandchildren, Phillip Gossett and Latasha Clark.
He is survived by: his wife Addie Knowles Anderson; his children, Jamie Anderson (Susie), Derrick Anderson (Ashley), Edwin Petie Clark, Jennifer Carey (Terry) and Stella Rowan (Mark); and his sister Judy Yann (Tom). He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
