He is survived by: his mother Stella Drane Phelps of Leitchfield; his children, David Scott Phelps of Leitchfield, Felicia LaChelle Jarboe (Dakota) of Leitchfield and Alyssa Brooke Phelps of Leitchfield; his grandchildren, Kinley Autumn and Nova Skye; and his sister Barbara Johnson (Rockford) of Anneta.
