He is survived by: his wife Luci Bess; his mother Sharron Spriggs of Madisonville; his stepfather Danny Spriggs of Madisonville; his father Tony Bess of Dixon, KY; his stepmother Liz Bess of Dixon, KY; his parents-in-law, Blake Porter of Slaughters, KY and Teresa Porter of Slaughters, KY; his son Owen Bess of Hanson; his stepdaughter Farrah Jones of Hanson; his siblings-in-law, Cain Myers of Nashville, TN and Lauren Myers of Nashville, TN; and also, April Spriggs of Cameron, NC, Crystal Littlepage, Heath Littlepage of Madisonville, Brittany Spriggs of Madisonville, Tony Bess, Lindsey Bess of Earlington, KY, Troy Bess of Madisonville and Nathan Spriggs of Evansville, IN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
