She was predeceased by: her parents, Stewart Childress and Vertie Childress; her husband Homer R. Horne; and her children, Danny R. Horne and Carol Emery.
She is survived by: her daughter Sheridan Herron (Nathaniel) of Hanson; and her sister Shirley Campbell of Port Orange, FL. She is also survived by six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and fifteen great great grandchildren.
