It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Opal Marie Sexton of Hallie, Kentucky, who passed away on July 6, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Sturgill and Gertie Boggs Sturgill. She is survived by: her spouse Lee Sexton; her stepson Johnny Sexton of Berea; her nephews, Michael Dewayne Caudill of Hallie, Everett Sturgill Jr. (Valerie) of Hallie and William Conley Sturgill (Nicole) of Eolia; and her close friend Beverly Dawahare.
