He is survived by: his children, Christina Abney (Charles) and Steven Hardin (Leah); his grandchildren, Logan, Sarah Hardin and Conner Abney; and his siblings, David Barnes (Sue), William Barnes (Joy), Ted Barnes, Carolyn Sowards (Bo) and Carla Barnes.
