He was predeceased by: his wife Judith Carol McCarty Fairchild. He is survived by: his children, Roger Eugene Fairchild, Avery Lee Fairchild, Phyllis Ann McNeil, Annette Carol Branham and Elizabeth Gay Fairchild; and his sister Patsy Picklesimer. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
