With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mark Richard Ellis of Hager, Kentucky, born in Charleston, West Virginia, who passed away on March 12, 2023 at the age of 59. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Newton Ellis and Marline Ellis (Little); his wife Deanna Ellis; his close friend Evelyn Ratliff; and his brother Thomas Ellis.
He is survived by: his children, David Ellis, Kristy May (Brent), T. J. Osborne (Lacey) and Jonathan Ratliff; his grandchildren, Tonya Miles, Amber May, Shawn May, Harper Osborne, Carter Osborne and Evan Osborne; his great grandchild Josie May; his siblings, William Michael Ellis (Dana), Leta Joe Easter (Tom), Janet Lynn Porterfield, Tim Ellis (Ashontae) and James Ellis (Kathy); and his sister-in-law Arlene Ellis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to help offset funeral expenses. Please consider making a donation to raise much needed funds to cover the funeral expenses.
