He is survived by: his wife Barbara Webb Lavender; his children, Dr. Timothy Lavender (Shanna) of Pikeville, KY and Michelle Johnson (Joseph) of Sadieville, KY.; his grandchildren, Christin Lavender, Kara Rosso, Cody Robinson, Drew Johnson, Kaitlyn Robinson, Faith Johnson and Lexi Lavender; and his great grandchildren, Holden Barron, Emma Barron and Violet Rosso.
