She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Thomas and Nola Jean Lemaster Preston; her husband Charles Arnold McKenzie; and her siblings, Clarence Cecil Preston, Wayne Dallas Preston, Guy Willard Preston, Roscoe Charles Preston, Richard Hobert Preston, Ray Torial Preston, Callie Preston Price, Julia Lee Preston and Helen Preston McDowell.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Anthony McKenzie (Linda) of Hager Hill, Richard Thomas McKenzie (Deborah) of Wittensville, Edward Nicholas McKenzie (Terrie) of Paintsville, Kentucky, Teresa Lou Ratliff (Vencil) and Dianna Joy Williamson of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
