He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lawrence Goforth and Catherine Fain Goforth; his children, Stella Dean, Johnny Goforth and Billy Carlton Goforth, Jr.; his siblings, Roy Lee, Jerry Goforth, Freddy Goforth and Shirley Land; and his grandson Greg Dean. He was also cherished by numerous step children as well as a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
