He was predeceased by: his wife Norma Ruth "Ruthie" Powell; and his siblings, Lillian "Doll Baby", Emma, James "Jay Bird", Elizabeth "Tizzy", Thelma, Helen, Everett Jr., Paul and Harry.
He is survived by: his children, Gary Powell (Debbie), Tony Powell (Debbie), Timothy Powell (Diane), Keith Powell (Tina) and Pamela Powell; and his brother Johnny. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; and a host of family & friends.
