It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry G. Burks Sr. of Guston, Kentucky, born in Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on January 16, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Burks and Flossie Burks (Smith); his son Toby Burks; and his brothers, Freddy Burks and George Burks.
He is survived by: his children, Larry G Burks, Jr. (Verlinda Robinson), Kimberly Crossfield (Scott), Amanda Burks (Timmy) and Sylvia Cureton; his grandchildren, Joshua Skaggs (Karrissa), Christopher Burks, Brian Green (Arialle), Sabrina Burks, Hailee Robinson, Austin Crossfield (Adrian), Cody Crossfield, Ricky Whitley, Tara Burks (Christen), Amber Drury (Michael) and Cambria Farris; his brother Alan Burks (Sandy); his sisters-in-law, Peggy Burks and Donna Burks; and his pet Smokey. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
