It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Scobee (Guston, Kentucky), who passed away on April 8, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Duewy Dean Scobee; and her siblings, Mayme Green, Fern Kerr, Charlie, Sim, Sam and Sonny Rodgers.
She is survived by: her children, Duewy Wayne Scobee (Casandra) of Guston, KY, Laura Lynette Scobee of Guston, KY, Stephanie Renee Scobee of Guston, KY and Michael Dean Scobee (Micah); her grandchildren, James Michael and Emily Alexis Scobee; her brothers, Billy Rodgers (Joyce Ann) and Bobby Rodgers (Gail); and her sisters-in-law, Katherine Scobee Kragh of Springfield, MO and Joyce Dean Rodgers Lee. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Hill Grove Baptist Church, or to the charity of the donor's choice.
