It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dakota James Adams (Guston, Kentucky), born in Vinita, Oklahoma, who passed away on October 28, 2019, at the age of 26, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brother Timothy Adams, Jr; and his grandmothers, Doris Adams and Joann Rhodes. He is survived by: his parents, Carrie Adams of Brandenburg, KY. and Tim Adams; his stepmother Stacy Adams; his siblings, Lee Spurlock (Mike) of Radcliff, KY, Cheyenne Nicole (Dylan) of Oklahoma, Melanie Downs of Oklahoma, Misty Hayes of Oklahoma, Michelle Hayes of Oklahoma, B. J. Hayes of Oklahoma, Kaitlynn (Taylor) of Irvington, Morgan Embry of Irvington and Jenna Bruce of Irvington; his grandfathers, Vern Rhodes and Stephen Adams (Brenda Long); his former wife Alyssia Bowman Adams of Brandenburg; his niece Madison Holcomb; his nephews, Levi and Jackson Spurlock; and his friend Chris Judd. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
