It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Chesley Herman Lawson of Guston, Kentucky, born in Irvington, Kentucky, who passed away on December 22, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Willis Lawson, Huston Lawson, Maurine Chandler and Alfreda Bosley; and his granddaughters, Emily and Elisabeth Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Wilnona "Nona" Moore Lawson; his daughters, Rebecca "Becky" Brown of Brandenburg, Myra Davis (Danny) of Louisville and Sandra "Sandy" Compton (Kenny) of Irvington; and his grandchildren, Whitney Carman (Kyle), Chelsey Kiper (Jesse), Justin Davis, Timothy Davis, Derrick Compton (Tammy Curry), Thomas Compton (Emileigh) and Samantha Davis. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren and many neices, nephews, family and many friends.
