It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wiley Loper of Gunlock, Kentucky, who passed away on January 6, 2023, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Coleman Loper; his son Johnny Edward Loper; his stepson Bill Rowe; and his siblings, Willie Lee Loper, John Wayne Loper and Barbara Jean Loper.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Paul Loper of Michigan and Anna Michelle Loper-Kern of Gunlock; the mother of his children Jeanie Kay Shepherd; his stepchildren, Timothy Rowe of Gunlock, Penny Rowe of Prestonsburg and Barb Rowe of Gunlock; and his siblings, Alfred Dean Loper of Prestonsburg, Dorisie Loper Wireman of Gunlock, Lolie Loper Watkins of Salyersville, Sarah Loper Hale of Gunlock, Katie Loper Adams (Rick) of Gunlock and Dottie Loper Bragg (Daniel) of Milton. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
