It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Mae Scott Shepherd of Gunlock, Kentucky, born in Garrett, Kentucky, who passed away on July 7, 2023, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Rush Scott; her husband Christopher Shepherd; and her son Russell Vanderpool. She is survived by: her mother Evelyn Wilson-Scott; her children, Christopher Tyler Shepherd, Samuel Ray Shepherd and Sabrina Renee Shepherd; her siblings, Clinton Scott, Ronald Scott, Paul Scott, Tony Scott, Tammy Green and Loretta Parks; and her grandchildren, Kaylee Parsons, Annabelle Parsons, Addison Parsons and Baby Boy Shepherd.
