He is survived by: his wife Annetta Howell Hamilton; his sons, Johnny Hamilton Jr. (Kim) of Hurricane and Joey Hamilton of Grethel, Kentucky; his siblings, Clifford Hamilton of Morehead, Delmer Hamilton of Craynor, Margaret McKinney of Teaberry and Patty Howell of Grethel, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Alyssa Thompson (Blake), Taylor Hamilton, Zoey Hamilton and Caden Hamilton; and his siblings, Willie Hamilton, Elmer Hamilton, Joe Jr. Hamilton, Thelma Mitchell, Pearlene Hamilton and Elva May Hamilton.
